The practice was formally established under the British Rule and the Common Law when the foundation of Kasliwal Chambers was laid by Mr. Gulab Chand Kasliwal, who after getting his Law Degree from the University of Lucknow (U.P.), joined the Bar Council in the year 1932. He practiced extensively for nearly 50 years in Civil and Constitutional laws in the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Rajasthan at Jodhpur as-well-as at its Bench at Jaipur.
In the year 1956, Mr. Gulab Chand Kasliwal’s contribution in the legal field were acknowledged as he was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and was also appointed as the Advocate General for the High Court of Rajasthan and remained so continuously from 1954 to 1970. Besides this he was also the Chairman of the municipal council, Jaipur. He was heading 28 committees who framed various laws & bye laws which are still in vogue.
