S. Kasliwals & Associates, popularly known as ‘Kasliwal Chambers ‘has its roots firmly grounded in history going back to the year 1885 when Fauzdar Dhanna Lal Kasliwal was appointed as a ‘Vakil’ by the then Jaipur State.

This professional initiation in the legal field by Fauzdar Dhanna Lal Ji Kasliwal was carried forward by his son Mr. Puran Chand Kasliwal, who also had Quasi Judicial Powers and his grandsons Sr. Advocate Mr. Gulab Chand Kasliwal and Advocate Mr. Ram Chandra Kasliwal.

 

 

 


Mr. Gulab Chand Kasliwal (Senior Advocate)

The practice was formally established under the British Rule and the Common Law when the foundation of Kasliwal Chambers was laid by Mr. Gulab Chand Kasliwal, who after getting his Law Degree from the University of Lucknow (U.P.), joined the Bar Council in the year 1932. He practiced extensively for nearly 50 years in Civil and Constitutional laws in the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Rajasthan at Jodhpur as-well-as at its Bench at Jaipur.
In the year 1956, Mr. Gulab Chand Kasliwal’s contribution in the legal field was acknowledged as he was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and was also appointed as the Advocate General for the High Court of Rajasthan and remained so continuously for a period of 17 years, from the year 1954 to 1970. Besides this, he was also the Chairman of the municipal council, Jaipur. He was heading 28 committees who framed various laws & bye laws which are still in vogue.

Mr. Ram Chandra Kasliwal (Advocate)      

Mr. Ram Chandra Kasliwal joined the Bar Council in the year 1942 after attaining his LL.B. Degree from Agra University and rose to become a well-known and reputed lawyer who practiced law for 50 years.
Throughout his distinguished career as a lawyer of impeccable repute, Mr. Ram Chandra Kasliwal carved out a special niche for himself not only in the legal fraternity but also amongst the public at-large in the State of Rajasthan.
Amongst many accolades, Mr. Ram Chandra Kasliwal was appointed as the Secretary to the Capital Advisory Committee at a young age of 29 and in accordance with the recommendations of the said Committee Jaipur was made Capital of the State of Rajasthan. He also played a prominent role in setting-up a bench of the High Court of Rajasthan at Jaipur while the High Court was being shifted to Jodhpur in 1956. To protest the shifting of the Bench, he surrendered his municipal corporation’s membership and was also jailed in this connection. He was an accomplished social worker connected with many social & religious organisations.

Mr. Sudhanshu Kasliwal (Senior Advocate)
Mr. Sudhanshu Kasliwal son of Mr. Ram Chandra Kasliwal joined the Bar Council of Rajasthan in the year 1972 and together with his younger brother gave the Firm a corporate look in order to keep pace with the growing needs of its vast clientele and to keep abreast with the developments taking place in the legal profession.
Mr. Sudhanshu Kasliwal is heading ‘Kasliwal Chambers’ and while extensively practicing in Civil, Constitutional, Commercial, Banking & Restructuring, Arbitration & Conciliation, Real Estate, Railway Claims and Consumer Laws.

Ms. Suruchi Kasliwal (Advocate)

Ms. Suruchi Kasliwal is the eldest daughter of Senior Advocate Mr.Sudhanshu Kasliwal and has while practicing Law since the year 2001 a mast rich work experience of having practiced before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India including various Hon’ble High Courts at Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur & Jodhpur besides other Courts and Tribunals while been practicing extensively in property (civil), constitutional, service, banking and financial institutions, rental, negotiable instruments, arbitration, criminal, family laws, etc.
Ms.Suruchi has while continuing to work under the able guidance of Senior Advocate Mr. Sudhanshu Kasliwal at the Head Office of the Firm, also established her own office at the Tonk Road, Jaipur.
